"Families that get adjusted together, stay healthy together"
At Journey Family Chiropractic we love adjusting families. Dr. Bates specializes in adjusting pregnant women and kids. Through her education with the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA4kids.org), she increased her knowledge with adjusting the pediatric and prenatal population. Dr. Bates is Webster Certified. According to icpa4kids.org, the Webster Protocol is the following:
"The Webster protocol is a specific chiropractic sacral analysis and diversified adjustment. The goal of the adjustment is to reduce the effects of sacral subluxation/SI joint dysfunction. In so doing neuro-biomechanical function in the pelvis is improved."
The Webster technique allows the sacrum to be in the proper position so baby has the best chance to go head down. Dr. Bates not only adjusts the pregnant mom, she has a wealth of information. Becoming a parent isn't easy, however Dr. Bates guides you with the ins and outs of pregnancy and birth.
